The spirit of inclusivity came alive during our coverage of the Land Meets Sea events over the years, where disabled individuals engaged in exciting sports and once-in-a-lifetime activities. Beyond events, we delved into the intersection of technology and humanity, creating a video presentation documenting the astounding scientific collaboration between Casa Colina, CalTech, and UCLA. Featuring Nancy, a tetraplegic woman who opted to undergo surgery to receive a groundbreaking brain implant, the presentation showcased the fusion of medical innovation and human resilience as she learned to use her brainwaves to regain the mobility she had lost by using her mind to interact with a range of electronic applications.
